Heat drops workers faster than most hazards on this site - and it is the most predictable one we have. The week ahead for your city, flagged, with the work-rest call for each day.

Live from Open-Meteo. Guidance is general good practice - your site's heat management plan and any state code of practice take precedence. UV 3+ = sun protection required (SunSmart guidance).

The rules of thumb

🟢 Under 30°C: normal work. Water available, sun protection when UV ≥ 3.
🟡 30-34°C: plan it - heavy/exposed work early, cup of water every 15-20 min, shade at breaks, watch new and returning workers.
🔴 35°C+: active heat management - reschedule the heaviest work, formal work/rest rotation, buddy checks, supervisor authority to stop work.
⚠ Any day: cranky, clumsy, confused, stopped sweating = act immediately. Cool them, water, shade, and if in doubt - 000.
