Can this pour go ahead?

Every other pre-pour checklist gives you a blank form to fill in and file. This one gives you an answer. Work through the checks and it tells you Green, Amber or Red — and if it is not green, exactly what is outstanding and who has to clear it.

This is not an approval. A green result means nothing on this list is outstanding — it is not a sign-off, a permit, an engineering release or a legal determination. The decision to proceed belongs to the competent person responsible for the work, using the site’s own hold points and approvals.

Why a checklist is not the same as an answer

Search “pre-pour checklist” and you get a dozen blank forms. They are useful for the record, but at 5:30am with the pump booked and 180 m³ on the road, a form does not tell you whether to send the trucks. The question is not “have I filled in the sheet” — it is “is anything outstanding, and who do I ring”. Once the truck starts, every mistake is permanent: missing embeds, wrong cover, formwork not signed off. After the pour they are all a demolition job.

Questions

Does a green result mean I am approved to pour?

No. It means nothing on this list is outstanding. It is not a permit, an engineering release or a hold-point sign-off. The decision to pour belongs to the competent person responsible for the work, using your own site approvals.

What counts as a critical check?

The ones marked must. If any of those is a No, the tool returns Red, because in practice they stop the pour: no closed hold point, no engineer release, no signed formwork, no licensed pump operator.

Can I mark something N/A?

Yes. Not every pour needs a placement permit or post-tensioning. N/A is treated as not applicable rather than as a pass, and it is not counted against you.

Is my answer stored anywhere?

It stays in your browser on your device. Nothing is sent to us. Print the result if you need it for the record.

Does this replace the ITP or the pre-pour inspection?

No. It is a pre-flight check that tells you whether those things are done. The ITP, the hold point and the inspection are the actual records.
