Can you actually claw that time back?
Every job that finishes late spent months insisting it would recover. The honest test is arithmetic: the rate you have actually been building at, against the rate the remaining work now needs. If the gap is small you can work it back. If it is not, the sooner that is on paper the better it goes for you.
Questions
What percentage complete should I use?
Physical completion, assessed honestly. Not the claim percentage, not the percentage of the programme bar that has been coloured in, and not spend. If the number is optimistic then everything this tool tells you is optimistic too, and you will find out later at a worse moment.
Why does it say recovery is not possible above a certain point?
Because past roughly a sixty per cent lift in output, the resources needed are usually not available, not affordable, or physically will not fit on the site. At that point the useful thing is not a recovery plan, it is a re-baselined programme and whatever notice your contract requires.
Does working six days actually give twenty per cent more?
Not in practice. Sustained overtime loses efficiency, and the losses compound over weeks. The tool shows the arithmetic lift; assume real output is meaningfully below it, and worse the longer it runs.
Is this a delay claim?
No. It is a management check on your own job. If the delay is not your fault, the notice and the entitlement are a separate exercise, and most contracts have a short time bar. Our EOT builder covers that side.
Is anything uploaded?
No. It stays in your browser on your device.

Recovery is cheap early and impossible late. The paid system tracks completion against programme on every work front as it happens, so the curve bends while there is still time to do something about it.
